MiniValuator ("we", "us", or "our") operates minivaluator.com, a DCF-based stock valuation tool. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

• Email address — used for authentication, account management, and transactional emails (e.g., billing receipts, password resets)
• Name (optional) — displayed in your profile

Usage Data

We collect anonymous analytics data to understand how users interact with the product:

• Pages visited and features used
• Browser type, device type, and operating system
• Country-level location (not precise GPS)
• Session duration and click interactions

This is collected via Google Analytics. You can opt out using browser extensions such as Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on.

Valuation Inputs

The DCF calculations you run (stock tickers, growth rates, discount rates, etc.) are processed in-session and are not stored on our servers beyond what is necessary for the current session. We do not build profiles of your investment interests.

Payment Information

If you upgrade to a paid plan, payments are processed by third-party payment processors (Stripe, Creem, or PayPal). We do not store your credit card number or sensitive payment details. We retain:

• Your selected plan and billing history
• Transaction IDs from payment processors

Cookies

We use cookies for:

• Authentication — keeping you logged in
• Preferences — remembering your locale and theme settings
• Analytics — anonymous usage tracking via Google Analytics

You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features (such as staying logged in) will stop working.

How We Use Your Information

Data Storage and Security

• Data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Neon (US-based)
• The site is served via Cloudflare Workers (global CDN)
• We use HTTPS for all data in transit
• Access to production data is restricted to authorized personnel only

No system is 100% secure. If you discover a security issue, please contact us at support@minivaluator.com.

Data Sharing

We share data only with the following service providers, solely to operate the product:

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

Data Retention

• Account data: retained while your account is active, and for up to 90 days after deletion
• Payment records: retained for 7 years as required by financial regulations
• Analytics data: retained per Google Analytics' own policy (up to 26 months by default)

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete your account and associated data (email us to request)
• Export your data upon request

Children's Privacy

MiniValuator is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy
