Credits & Pricing

How the Credit System Works

MiniValuator uses a simple credit-based system to manage access to stock valuations. Each time you run a valuation — entering a ticker, retrieving financial data, and generating your DCF output and sensitivity heatmap — 10 credits are consumed.

Credits are purchased in packages and applied to your account. You can run as many valuations as you have credits available, on any supported stock, at any time.

Free Tier

Every new MiniValuator account starts with 30 free credits — enough for 3 full valuations — so you can explore the tool before buying a credit pack. These are a one-time signup bonus, not a monthly allowance, and they are added automatically when you create your account — no credit card required.

Use your free credits to run a few valuations, explore the sensitivity heatmap, and get a feel for how the tool works. Credits never expire, and no subscription is needed to use them.

Once your free credits are used, you can purchase additional credits as one-time packs. There is no subscription. MiniValuator offers two packs to suit different usage levels:

PackPriceCreditsValuationsBest For
Pack S$4.99100 credits10 valuationsIndividual investors running occasional valuations
Pack L$9.99300 credits30 valuationsActive investors following a whole portfolio

Pack L is the best value at $0.33 per valuation. Pricing for each pack is displayed on the Pricing page within the app. Credits do not expire after purchase and carry over indefinitely.

Why MiniValuator Uses Credits

Running a valuation is not free on the back end. MiniValuator fetches real-time and historical financial data — including revenue, earnings, free cash flow per share, and current valuation multiples — from financial data APIs and SEC filings. These API calls have a cost per request.

The credit system lets MiniValuator remain accessible at a low price point while covering the actual cost of data retrieval. It also means you only pay for what you use, rather than committing to a monthly subscription regardless of activity.

How to Check Your Remaining Credits

Your current credit balance is displayed in the top navigation bar when you are logged in. You can also view your full usage history and purchase additional credits from your Account page, accessible from the user menu.

Purchasing Credits

To purchase a credit package:

  1. Log in to your MiniValuator account.
  2. Navigate to the Account or Pricing page.
  3. Select the credit package that fits your needs.
  4. Complete checkout securely. Credits are added to your account immediately upon successful payment.

Refund Policy

If you haven't used any of the credits from a purchase, contact us within 7 days for a full refund. Once you've run a valuation with those credits, that purchase is non-refundable, because the credits represent API data costs that have already been incurred. Unused credits remain on your account and never expire, so there is no risk of losing credits you have not yet used.

If you experience a technical issue that incorrectly consumed credits without producing a valuation result, contact support and the team will review your case.

If you are new to MiniValuator and want to understand the valuation process before using your credits, see Getting Started.
